December 9, 2011 “Archetypes That Shape A Woman’s Life” with Dale Allen & Madeleine Marentette
My daughter, Dani is 11 years old. We attended a women’s circle for the Autumn Equinox. In a spa overlooking beautiful gardens and a swimming pool, a circle of women gathered, immersed in deep psychic terrain to balance the light and the dark. Outside, Dani and her friend, Olivia gracefully swam and played in the pool. They were like nymphs, posing to create fountain sculptures of themselves – they exuded light and sweetness. We could see the girls outside the window. We knew that their presence was a powerful gift to us and to the work we were doing – healing work that spirals out in great waves upon our earth. The girls, the Maidens, brought balance to us. They cheered our hearts and energized our own inner Maidens. After our circle, we women – Mothers and Crones, went outside for a fire ritual. We’d written down on pieces of paper that which we wished to let go of in our lives. We burned the papers with great ritual intention. When we were complete, the laughter began, and the food, and the dancing and the joy! Dani happily remarked that we were like a bunch of girls all together. “Yes!” I exclaimed. “All women have a Maiden within, a Mother and a Crone within!” Dani has certainly shown me the wisdom of her wise Crone at times. Though I am so grateful that she can really express her joyful Maiden self in freedom and peace.

Blooming Maiden
Youth, innocence, the world is at our feet. We can do anything! Some of us remember our youth this way, for others maybe just a chapter of youth, a year, a summer – for others, it was just an inner knowing that we have a place in this world. This is a vital force to be kept alive, that must withstand the forces in life that try to chip it away. This is the sliver of the moon after the dark days of the New Moon, the waxing, growing moon.
Mother
Encompasses more than mothering children. The Mother archetype is about creating, tending, nurturing, making stability, manifesting dreams, desires, projects, goals. The Mother sets down roots. She brings us strength to move beyond our fears, our failures, our vulnerabilities. This is the full moon, shining, creating, full.
Crone
She knows. She is aware of all of the mistakes and failures in life, but our inner Crone doesn’t care if we have won or lost at what we have tried, she only wants to know if the mistakes we ours – were we authentic? She is a direct connection to the Blooming Maiden – the innocence within – she tends this vital force and asks us only to align with our authenticity, warts and all, and we will access that eternal vitality – WITH experience! Outer appearances or personas don’t matter anymore. Now it is a coming home to that realness – the world is at our feet again, but we are experienced, whole, and our choices are quite different. There is not so much a need to please, to protect our self-concept, to fill our roles we thought we should – we are free. This is the waning moon that will be renewed again.

On December 12, 2009, a unique group of caring, “conscious” individuals will gather together in New York City to begin the exciting process of creating a blueprint that will accelerate positive change in communities, worldwide!
What can we do right now, as individuals and as a society, to shift the consciousness on the Planet? How can we draw from the highest wisdom, utilize state of the art technology and tap into the incredible talent and resources we are so blessed to have?
This highly entertaining, informative and interactive evening will highlight original songs, such as “Think Positive America,” “I’m A Person,” “Listen to the Sounds,” and “Today is My Day.” The presentation will include heartwarming videos that will reveal current strategy and goals of the project, and featured speakers, including project Founders, filmmaker Helene Abrams, and David Giller - who has been developing this vision for more than three decades.
