Long Sleeve
Three goddesses and “In Our Right Minds” adorn this shirt
like a golden necklace: the Goddess of Thrace from Central Bulgaria, circa 4,500
BC, the Goddess of Willendorf, circa 29,000 BC and the Snake Goddess of
Neolithic Crete, circa 6,000 BC. They call to us from ancient days, when
the creative force behind all things was considered to be female. Three
million years of evolution expressed itself in humanity’s balanced utilization
of both hemispheres of the brain. Left-brain dominance did not shape this
earlier paradigm as it has shaped ours. When we are “in our right minds,”
we are once again utilizing the right hemisphere of the brain, the feminine
gatherer-nurturer side. We are in balance, using the strengths of both
hemispheres, expressing the masculine and feminine energies in harmony, and
creating a sustainable world.
